Everyone was very professional from Eloy our salesman to Bobby, and Jimmy the finance manager. He showed what we were looking for didn’t try to steer us towards other vehicles

So we were told that the battery cables needed to be replaced by a “master technician” well that was a lie…..went to my certified mechanic that I used for almost 25 years and found out it was the battery and not the cables. Don’t try and sell something to gain a profit for the technicians. I understand that they have to take care of their family…..So do I. Be honest upfront and transparent.

Ricardo , service representative made the whole experience worth it. When he greeted us he was so quick to help us get out of the car and then see that the service was done efficiently and keep us posted as to when and where the car was. When finished the car was returned to exactly the same place he left us even taking my card in for me. This was a true gentleman and service representative of your company. I truly appreciated all of his efforts since I have some difficulty with walking. You should be honored to have such an outstanding employee.

Took 2.5 hours for oil change and tire rotation and I had an appointment!

I was 10 minutes early to my appointment time. They took my car in immediately and it was returned to me in 40 minutes. I had a license plate bracket installed on the front of my new GMC.

The service tech was great in explaining my services and taking my vehicle in on short notice.

Our salesman Carlos was very helpful in locating a GMC Terrain for us. The guy who helped my wife with all the new features on the new car was very good and knew the car very well.

Gary Bruton and his team are the absolute best! The Garlyn Shelton Service Dept. is the reason we continue to purchase all of our cars there and continue to have them serviced there. We appreciate their excellent customer service and highly recommend them to all!

Went in for an oil change and some filters to be changed. Was charged a fee for a multi point inspection didn’t ask for looked at other service documents from previous visits was not charged for it or was not completed. Truck comes out of service with black tire or rubber marks on the front of the vehicle. Inappropriate conversations not related to work service workers talking behind the desk.

My truck was serviced for a check engine light. The service advisor kept me informed very well. She also kept the cost down to me with excellent suggestions for the best way to get the repair done.

It was wonderful as always. The staff is friendly, processes my pickup in quickly, and gets the work done. That’s why I go to the Garlyn Shelton dealership.

It was a pleasant experience: Mr Payne was great, he found what we wanted and got us in the car we needed. Everyone there was polite and professional.

I gave 3 stars because the service itself was fine, but the wait time was excessive. Waiting around 2.5 hours for an oil change and tire service is much longer than expected, especially while staying there the entire time. Better communication on timing or a faster turnaround would have made for a much better experience.

Salesman Lance was extremely helpful and patient is showing us the different truck models and in describing the attributes of each. We received a fair trade-in value and closed deal and drove off in new truck in the same day.

I went into the dealership, knowing what I wanted to purchase the sales person was very knowledgeable and helpful answered all the questions that I had made the process of purchasing the vehicles easy and final paperwork with the finance department also went smooth. No problems would use again.

The service was excellent. But I have been to your repair shop (GMC) more often than my VW an Mazda car. I think your GMC trucks are lemon cars. I only have 13,000 miles and spending too much on repairs.

Completed in a timely manner

Customer service is always great but I did not like the fact I came in for an oil change and a new rear wiper blade and because they didn’t have a blade that fit the wiper arm, I had to pay for a new wiper arm and the blade which was around $100 total. I did like that the rep found Garlyn points to help with the extra costs but that was an unexpected and a little unnecessary expense.

I was greeted when I arrived. The work on my truck was quick and completed faster then I expected. The gentleman that assisted me made me feel valued as a customer. Which makes me want to go back for all my GMC service. Thank you!

Everything went great.

Liz in service by far makes my 50 minute drive worth it. I live in the country in Gatesville and there are many other dealerships that are a lot closer that I can go too. When you find a service department that you trust the advisor that speaks volumes!

Wait time was long.

Eugene was great in explaining what my car needed as I was only there for an oil change and tire rotation.

I had a dead battery and was leaving for a trip. A friend took my car in for me and service took care of it right away. My friend was very impressed with the service department as well. Garlyn Shelton Service is very effecient. Thank You for taking care of me and my vehicle.

Poor communication putting me on hold or telling me that they’re going to call me back and never do my car was getting fixed in the shop for three days and they couldn’t even give me a loaner I was told different pricings so I’m sure I was overcharged

It took nearly 2 hours to complete. Should have taken less than 1 hour. Total cost $494.92. Of that amount $232.90 was labor. Outrages! $268.84 parts? My next service will not be at the dealership.

They did not check the air or cabin filters but told me I needed to change them. When I told them I just changed both filters, they said they had only looked at the mileage and not the actual filters. Scam?

The facility is very clean and is well organized. The service was great and very timely. The Safety inspection was unexpected but very much appreciated. This experience was far better than I received at a drive through, stay in your car service I had received previously elsewhere. The service representative did a great job. All in all, I was very pleased and it was well worth the drive from Killeen.

They did a great job as always. They replaced the fuel filter and got me back on the road within an hour.

The lady that was helping me didnt seem knowledgeable. I told her I had an issue going on about my car & she said they could run a test $189. I told he no. She asked me did I want a car wash i said yes. I noticed that my car wasn’t washed. She said, we can take it back again.

Dropped off my Car for repairs June 3rd, was notified June 5th they had to Order another part and would get back with me. Weeks upon weeks went by and got No calls. So on July 6th I called just to find out my Car had been ready since June 8th. They had No clue why No one called me. When I went to pick up my Car on July 6th No apologies for anything. Then they gave me my Car with a Months worth of Dust and grime all over it. I had to ask them to Wash it and then they didn't even do that great of a job. Very displeased with there customer service . Never been to a dealership where the Service reps can see you pull in and Never acknowledge you unless you go inside and ask. Every dealership I've ever visited they see you pull up they come out and ask how they can help you this place didn't even look up they just stayed staring at there phones. Terrible Customer Service in my opinion

There was never any mention of the $200 diagnostic fee to inspect my vehicle for the problem I brought it in for. I am not happy that I had to pay this amount without anyone telling me that upfront just to look at my vehicle and tell me what is wrong. Even when you put it on the diagnostic machine it is not that much money. I will not be bringing my car back to this service center and I will not be buying another vehicle there as I was offered only $1000 for my vehicle bc I did not want to walk over to talk to the service manager. Even if you sell just my car parts they are worth more than $1000. I just replaced the transmission in Dec. 2025. I was very offended by this offer and will not be back. Horrible customer service.

I arrived at 2:50, appointment was at 3. They took my car back and came back to the ready lane at 3:38, I sat there until 4:30 before I was checked out. The guy was training a new lady and he was skipping all over the place, y’all need a better system or better employees, yall service department is the worst I have ever dealt with.

Well, I don’t know what to say really I took my vehicle in for a problem. They said they had to order a part for it to take it back in to get the part put on then they say there was actually nothing wrong with my vehicle but yet I thought the Vehicle shake horribly and don’t know where that was coming from. Don’t know if it was AC motor oil don’t know me nothing was wrong with the car. I still have my doubt.

Came in for an oil change Did not change the sticker on the windshield never got a inspection report not sure if the tires were rotated did not top off washer fluid bought the truck there almost a year ago been driving an hour and a half one way to get the service done up till now was satisfied maybe if I had spent 80 grand on a new truck you would have done it right!
